HELI Oceania returned to the National Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo at Sydney’s Eastern Creek Raceway this April, exhibiting alongside dealer partner Sydney Forklift Trucks across a three-day weekend that drew strong attendance from industry professionals and the wider public alike.
On Display
The HELI stand featured a cross-section of the Oceania product lineup, anchored by the G3 series IC forklifts spanning 2.5 to 10 tonnes. The 3.5-tonne model with a fully enclosed cabin drew particular attention, purpose-built for Australia’s variable weather, it offers year-round operator comfort with full climate protection. At the heavier end, the 10-tonne G3 is designed for high-intensity applications across industrial yards, recycling centres, and busy workshop floors.
Alongside the IC range, HELI displayed two telehandlers: a 2.5-tonne compact model and a 3-tonne unit, addressing the tight-access challenges common on Australian construction sites.
New to the Show
Two product categories made their Expo debut this year. A skid steer loader expanded HELI’s presence beyond the forklift aisle and into earthmoving and site preparation. And a 5-tonne lithium electric forklift offered a direct response to rising fuel costs and tightening emissions standards across Australian industry, delivering output on par with its diesel equivalent, and making the switch to electric a practical choice rather than a compromise.
Visitor Response
The stand drew steady traffic from opening day, with visitors climbing into cabs for hands-on demos and talking through applications with the HELI Oceania and Sydney Forklift Trucks teams. The enclosed-cabin G3 and the lithium electric unit generated the most conversation.
HELI Oceania thanks everyone who stopped by, and looks forward to the next one.
