On November 27, 2025, HELI Industrial Vehicles (Thailand) Co., Ltd. held a groundbreaking ceremony for its integrated industrial vehicle and lithium battery assembly production facility at the Rojana Rayong Industrial Park in Thailand.
To strengthen its position as a global market leader and advance its international expansion strategy, Anhui Heli Co., Ltd. has formed a strategic partnership with Thai company Siam Motors Parts Co., Ltd. (SMP) to establish Heli Industrial Vehicles (Thailand) Co., Ltd. as a joint venture. Together, they are investing in a new manufacturing facility that will create an integrated production and sales platform for industrial vehicles and lithium battery systems in Thailand, enhancing their competitive edge and international brand influence.
The project covers approximately 84,330 square meters with a total construction area of 50,550 square meters, representing an investment of approximately 425 million yuan ($60 million USD). The facility will include integrated manufacturing workshops, battery production facilities, office buildings, a cafeteria, and supporting infrastructure equipped with intelligent production lines. Once fully operational, the plant will have an annual production capacity of 10,000 forklifts and 10,000 lithium battery sets.
Distinguished guests at the ceremony included Mr. Chen Xianyou, Deputy General Manager of Anhui HeliHELICo., Ltd.; Mr. Prakasit Phornprapha, Chairman of Siam Motors Parts Co., Ltd.; Mr. Yao Lepeng from China Automotive Engineering Corporation; Mr. Sun Xiaojun, General Manager of Rojana Industrial Park’s China Division; Mr. Liu Hui, Sales Director; and representatives from local Thai government agencies.
In his address, Mr. Chen Xianyou welcomed and thanked the Thai government officials, partners, and friends in attendance. “As a leader in China’s industrial vehicle sector, Anhui HELI has always embraced the world with an open mindset, viewing internationalization as our strategic horizon,” he said. “Today’s partnership with SMG and our investment in Chonburi Province represents our active response to the Belt and Road Initiative and our deep integration into global supply chains. This development not only advances HELI’s globalization strategy but also demonstrates the practical benefits of complementary advantages and win-win cooperation between China and Thailand in advanced manufacturing.”
Mr. Sun Xiaojun, representing Rojana Industrial Park, congratulated the project’s launch and welcomed HELI Industrial Vehicles to the park. “With over 37 years of experience in developing and managing modern industrial parks, we pledge to treat HELI as our most valued partner,” he stated. “Throughout the construction phase and future operations, we will provide the highest quality, most comprehensive, and efficient services to ensure the project’s smooth progress and timely completion.”

The ceremony concluded with project leaders and guests jointly wielding ceremonial golden shovels to break ground, marking the successful launch of this significant industrial development.
